Initially referring to the sphere of private life, in recent decades it has undergone an extensive evolution, coming to indicate the right to control over one's personal data. Today's meaning of privacy commonly refers to a person's right to control that information about him or her is only processed or viewed by others when necessary.
Information security is the set of means and technologies aimed at protecting computer systems in terms of availability, confidentiality e integrity of computer goods or assets.
