Introduction

Journalism today has the opportunity to make use of sophisticated tools that support practitioners in their work of investigation, verification and information retrieval. This is why we have moved to data journalism or data journalism, in which investigations and reportage increasingly make use of the internet and the availability of open data, more commonly known as open data.

Objectives

This course explains time-saving methods for verifying the authenticity and accuracy of images, videos and stories you find on social media or other online sites. It will also help you make use of Internet sources, public data and news archives.
